Introducing KOTTON Designshirts

Recently German based,Swiss born designer Matthias Staeheli introduced me to his up and coming label KOTTON Designshirts. I decided to take a journey over to his site, kotton.de and have to say that I was pleasantly surprised so I had to let the rest of you know about it. Currently the site is only available in German (English version coming soon!), but the pure creative talent on display is more than enough to warrant a visit to the site. I had a bit of an advantage with about 6 years of German language studies under my belt i was able to navigate through it a bit, but thankfully Matthias sent over an email giving me a little more insight in to KOTTON.

Matthias is a 24yr old Swiss born designer creating out of Berlin, Germany “a city that inspires you everyday.” he just recently finished his media design studies and let me tell you that it will not go to waste as will become apparent upon entering the KOTTON site. KOTTON plans to release the first shirt “monstabash soundmachine” in just a few days. You can check out a snapshot of the shirt by going to the site let it load, click ‘boy’ and click the thumbnail top left. Matthias promises new photos as he releases each t-shirt but he is giving us a peak with the couple of photos I’ve added below. All shirts look like they will be printed on American Apparel, unfortunately I have yet to figure out the pricing (that 6yrs of German was a while ago) but I will pass it on as soon as I get it.

Thanks for letting us check it out Matthias I wish you the best of luck. Oh and for those of you that are having a rough start to the week I highly recommend checking out his personal portfolio, make sure the volume is on, the dancing pixels made my day.
