Had a great week out in sunny CA. Had a chance to meet up with Darren, the owner of First Stoke and discuss his current vision as well as plans for the future. I want to say thanks to Darren for showing us a good time and providing some really good insight as to what he sees for AS|ONE as well as what we can contribute to the future of First Stoke. We definitely want to stay on board with him as his vision takes shape and progresses so look for some future calaborations. On that note I wanted to mention that First Stoke hosted it’s first launch party last night in SF and from the sound of it, it went off. Stay tuned for the footage of the bikini contest he hosted, voting will be done online through firststoke.com, should be pretty hot!

I also wanted to give special thanks to Mike Byrnes for contributing some pretty rad footage to the site, you can check out his trick tip vid Fakie 540 Bigspin Flip. Mike is definitely coming up on the skateboard scene and it turns out he’s a super creative artist so stay on the lookout for an AS|ONE/Mike Byrnes collab.
