I have been going back and forth trying to figure out what direction I see AS|ONE Clothing heading in this year and I started to realize that I had become to worried about what ‘type’ of brand this is or what others might classify it as. Streetwear, skate clothing, surf clothing, urban influenced… It has become quite apparent that the fine lines between the classifications have been seriously overlapped and will continue to blur well into the future. So were does that leave AS|ONE Clothing I ask and this is what I came up with. When I began creating this brand I had a vision as to what I wanted it to encompass. It was to be a creative outlet and a medium that I enjoy, a way to work at creating something that would add some minor significance to someones life and in the future a leaping point to fuel other more influential projects in the grand scheme of things. So for this new year I intend to focus once again on what I set out to accomplish, to quite stressing about how the brand is viewed and to fully enjoy what I have created, you can classify it however you want…
