A couple of weeks ago I was contacted about a new social networking site being developed for the board sports community called FirstStoke.com. Sounded like a pretty good way to meet some new people, find out whats going on around the board sports world and spread the word about our company at the same time so we had to check it out. Super Impressed! Well put together, some sick photos, videos, tips & tricks and even a birds eye view of a ton of spots your may have never been to or even heard of. It’s like the one stop for anyone involved in actions sports. So we turned our newest team rider Josh on to it and he’s been throwing up photos ever since, and now we are giving you the heads up. Get a profile, show off your pics and video clips, share some knowledge and help this community thrive. Here is what Darren had to say in the official launch announcement:

I am very excited to announce the launch of my new company, FirstStoke.com, a board sports community web site featuring user submitted pictures & videos, a social networking platform, in addition to a vast and interactive collection of travel (surf breaks, ski resorts, surf camps, etc.) and educational content. The site is relevant to the first time board sport enthusiast, sponsored pros, and everyone in between. Future releases will include surf/snow forecasts & current conditions, travel deals, a First Stoke online store, and more.

If you are passionate about board sports such as surfing, snowboarding, skateboarding, wakeboarding, kitesurfing, and others, be sure to check out www.firststoke.com. First Stoke will allow you take a quick breather from work as you lose yourself in the array of killer video footage. Learn the latest snowboard trick and drive progression in your sport. The site contains all of that and much more!
